How we integrate with our surroundings, both aesthetically and environmentally, is essential and at the core of our building design and construction.
We aim to promote a positive experience for both guests and owners through environmentally conscious practices.
Our holistic approach to sustainability considers the entire lifecycle of our buildings. This includes prioritising the use of high quality, sustainably sourced materials and recyclable components in construction wherever we can.
We focus on energy efficiency, using highly insulated panel systems (SIPs), double or triple glazing for heat retention.
Our designs are pre-engineered to accommodate the full range of modern heating and cooling solutions including solar panels, air source / ground source and geothermal options, or more traditional sources of heating.
Structural Integrity
Eden Arc employ modern methods of construction, utilising fast and scalable stuctural technology.
We use modern SIPs construction (structural insulated panels) – meaning our highly insulated, flexible and energy efficient designs can be built rapidly (up to 65% less time than traditional builds) and cost-effectively (with overall project savings of 20-30%).
Combined with our design processes and modern methods of construction, we can deliver improved build quality whilst still achieving greater levels of sustainability.
Sustainable Materials
Eden Arc utilises high quality, sustainably sourced materials and recyclable components whenever possible.
Our ongoing material assessment process allows us to minimise environmental impact, improve energy efficiency and enhance durability, longevity and recyclability.
Energy Efficiency
Our designs prioritise minimal energy consumption. The structures are constructed with closed-cell SIPs (structural insulated panels) to create a highly insulated and waterproof envelope, resulting in impressive overall U-Values.
All units feature aluminium-framed, UV-treated double glazing as standard, shaded by a deep canopy to reduce heat loss and solar gain.
Our units are heated using efficient underfloor heating and supplied with hot water by integrated air-source hot water tanks (which require minimal energy and retain heat for over 12 hours) or highly efficient electric combination boilers. These are housed in an externally accessible service room within the footprint of all our buildings.
Longevity & Low Maintenance
Through a combination of material selection, assembly techniques, and integrated MEP products, Eden Arc buildings are designed to last.
Our standard cladding requires minimal maintenance and can endure for decades, while our recommended flooring is a durable, low-maintenance ceramic wood-effect tile that resists fading and marking even with heavy foot traffic.
Quality Assurance and Guarantee
Built to British Building Regulations with RIBA-certified architectural detailing and ICW Warranty, our modular design ensures high quality.
We offer a 10 year guarantee on the superstructure, 3 years on glazing, external doors and decking, and 1 year on internal elements, electrics and connections.
